Hello! Today was a good day as I worked relatively short and had long, good drives! I had a discussion with a golden state warrior fan about the SuperSonics and their unfortunate departure to Oklahoma. Ugh. I hate even talking about it. Damn Thunder. I mean I'll admit I have sour grapes. I really was a fan when they had a great core of player like Allen, Lewis and Collisen but moving to OKC doesn't make any sense! Anyways, they lost so I got the last laugh..
Anyways all the other drives were pleasant and the Mariners finally won at home! Yes! Happy Memorial Day and I hope everyone has a great holiday!

26-29th of May 2016 - A lot happened but nothing really to say
Sorry for taking a few days to write this post but i guess i will go through the days and tell you if it included anything notable.
26th of May- Thursdays are typically busy in Seattle during the Morning rush. The morning usually is very quiet and just involves me playing my music at a tolerable level while the customers usually check their e-mails or do some work. These, as my fellow Lyft and Uber drivers will atest to, the best customers! I consider them the saviors of my sanity! No one really stood out as interesting but that usually means the rides are all good.
27th of May- Fridays are the second busiest days of the week. This weekend being especially busy because of Memorial day. Udub students are stressing themselves out from Finals. Typical stuff really. This Friday I had a gem of a ride with a young Indian Lady and her daughter going to the airport from North Creek! They were very quiet and polite and the ride earned me 1/4 of my typical daily earnings in one ride! Awesome! We had the Mariners in town ( Who really suck at home for some reason) and I had a awesome night overall.
28th of May- Saturdays are the busiest days of the week. The whole day involved long trip after long trip and was pretty easy going. I learned that Kevin Hart is hilarious! Watched his stand up before work, I think it is awesome how pathetic he is but he knows it. But anyways the night was going just fine until my last drive of the night involved me picking up some college kids to go find their friend Shmitty of something. "Um yeah dude, Is it cool if we find our boy Shmitty?" I say "Where is he?" and They say "Well he is by the Ave" (the Ave is what U district people call University Avenue). So I drive and the whole time they are talking to him and he keeps saying he is blacking (out). Awesome.
Anyways we find this stupid kid and his whole crew is hugging him like he is going in for heart surgery and everyone in my car decides to hug it out with the crew, who they do not know at all, and finally, finally, Shmitty finally gets in the car. Like I was happy I finally found this kid, but when he started "freestyle" rapping my mind drifted to dark thoughts....Anyways some people shouldnt rap. I remember this girl who was sitting next to me and said "Dont you feel bad for me, I have to deal with these kids, Fam" I mean I have heard the word Fam before but never addressed to me. Ruined my night. But yeah that was Friday...
29th of May- Sundays are usually the third busiest day of the week. Today was pretty good. I usually only work the mornings so I can spend time with Winnie and the girls the rest of the day. I think I found my calling! I had some strange young men in my car who wanted to go hiking in Discovery Park in the rain. Who am I to judge? I mean really in the rain. But anyways, we got on the subject of fanny packs. Dear lord, what if their was a evil million/billionaire who just wanted to see the public start to wear fanny packs? I mean can you make them cool? If you had aggressive sales tactics and used sexy people to advertise fanny packs, could they be in vogue? God I wish I had money.
I promise my next posts wont be so long. Cheers!

25 May 2016- Ethics of Automation
Working the morning shift today didn't field any funny stories, really. I had a really good chat with a Google employee about Dart, which I will be checking out and a great ride with a Seattle U softball player discussing the college's horrible pairing with the WAC (which doesn't field football anymore). I know Seattle U is a bad school for athletes but academically would be a good match with the Big Sky or WCC. I also had a interesting conversation with a Amazon employee about the ethics of automation. Should a AI be allowed to be creative? But yeah. Nothing too funny really.
Really weird bug on Lyft this morning. Had the whole Puget sound lit up! Would suck to be any body out in the middle of no where who needed a ride!
Thanks for reading!
